Located on site at The Parthenon – Nashville TN. This event will be held in concert with the International Archaeology Day at The Parthenon.

Attendees will have the opportunity to chat with the gilders about the process of gilding Athena Parthenos, which is the tallest indoor sculpture in the western hemisphere. We will be demonstrating the gilding process on fragments of the Athena project and will welcome participation by attendees with actually laying gold leaf on the prepared surface. Come play in the gold with us while learning about this ancient craft.

This is a FREE class! - Admission is included with the normal Parthenon admission fee ($8-$10).
