Marybeth first discovered the art of verre églomisé when she moved to Toronto in 2005.

Verre églomisé is an ancient art form that involves applying genuine gold leaf, metal leaf such as silver and copper to create opulent designs. This process is highly sought after in high-end interior design projects, as it adds a touch of luxury and exclusivity to any interior space. Marybeth also applies distinct techniques such as patination, inlay mother of pearl, and other contemporary finishes to create another layer of uniqueness.

Marybeth's artistic influence dates back to her early childhood in the Philippines, a Spanish colony for about 300 years. She was fascinated by the ornate gilded altars and profound interiors of the churches and cathedrals scattered across the country, which she visited while attending Sunday mass.

Marybeth is an accomplished interior designer, and one of her landmark projects was designing the Shrine of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus in Manila, Philippines. She is also an instructor under The Society of Gilders, a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers New York-Metro and the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario. Her work is being exhibited and collected internationally.
