This class is designed to introduce and inspire young people, as potential future gilders and design professionals to the beauty of Gold leaf and the techniques of gilding.

The one day class will cover:
•A brief history of gilding
•Oil gilding with 23 karat, gold leaf, pure silver leaf and composition gold and silver leaf.
•Acrylic size gilding.
•The gilding wheel and Ribbon leaf gilding.
Water gilding with the Kolner system.
